Sae Chung

Sae Chung is a postdoctoral research associate in the Health Policy and Management Department. Currently involved in several research projects, Sae participates in the program evaluation of the Georgia Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, assesses the Community Health Promoters Program in Puerto Rico, examines the utilization of obesity counseling among pediatric/adult patients using MarketScan data, and explores the utilization of exercise and dietary counseling among hospitalized diabetic patients using National Inpatient Sample data. Sae’s research interests extend to areas such as children and household food insecurity, food behavior and health expenditure, quality of life among children, youths, and the elderly, financial behavior and well-being, community outreach programs, and mental health disparities.
