Grayson Waits

Grayson Waits is a candidate for the MPH degree with a concentration in epidemiology. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, women’s reproductive and sexual health, community health, and violence prevention. As a graduate research assistant for the Economic Evaluation Research Group (EERG), Grayson has been able to gain experience in quantitative and qualitative research, while also participating in the academic writing of a manuscript. One of her favorite projects is the work  on a scoping review of strategies to combat COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. Additionally, Grayson works with the Cottage Sexual Assault Center in Athens as an accompaniment advocate for survivors of sexual assault. Also, she works as an intern for the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of Reproductive Health.
